About Department

The Department of English was established in the year 1999. It consists of four faculty members – two Assistant Professors, a Senior Lecturer and a Lecturer. The Department focuses primarily on the teaching of English to the students of I year B.E. Besides teaching English to the I year B.E., it conducts a course “Communication Skills,” which is oriented to the students of II, III, and IV year B.E. The syllabus is designed so as to meet the practical needs of the students. On the whole, it equips them for their future career. The Department of English pays special attention to the weak learners and conducts coaching classes to enable them to pass the examination.
