About Department

The Department of Information Technology is one of the biggest department in the College. The department has excellent infrastructure facilities to provide quality education and training in the areas of Information Technology. The department has the well-equipped laboratories and well-established library. All students are encouraged to work on individual projects as well as group projects. Students encouraged to publish papers based on their projects works in journals and conferences. Industrial visits are arranged for students to gain practical exposure. In addition, guest lectures and panel discussion are arranged by inviting eminent persons from organization of repute in the industry.
The department aims at IT based Learning, Development of Entrepreneurship among student and become a Centre of Excellence.
The department has excellent infrastructure facilities to provide quality education and training in Information Technology. The students’ performance is assessed continuously through monthly tests, assignments and model examination and by a semester – end university examination.
All undergraduate students are encouraged to work on individual projects as well as group projects as per the university regulations.
