categorized in two types mainly:

Mechanism/Norms
& Procedure for democratic/good Governance
The College has adopted broadly a centralized system of Governance with lot of delegation of
powers to the Head of Departments and Sections and at the same time a close co-ordination
and supervision by the Top Authorities. The Organization Chart of the Institution is as depicted below:
The
Dean Academic is the co-coordinator of academic activities including
examination by the
schedule for various courses with required inputs from different Head of Departments in accordance
with Lecture, Tutorial and
Practical (LTP) as designed by
He is closely guided and assisted by Heads of Departments and in over all activities of the College.
The office work for Dean Academics is attended by the Academic Registry which has given added
manual strength to keep academic record of every student admitted to the College in File system and
Computerizes Information system of students for ready reference.
The Head of Departments of individual Departments are specifically responsible for delivery
of the Lecturers, conduct of the Tutorials and Practical falling in different courses under
different semester levels and to provide the Dean necessary inputs regarding Compliance of the
students in accordance with the University Statues.
The Dean Administration is responsible for maintaining the appointment records of the entire staff member
on the payroll of the College including timely release of their salaries and increments. He is also giving advice
on behalf of the College authorities on any official matter with prior permission of Principal regarding selection
Interviews, Quotations, Purchase and negotiation with different parties and all Administrative affairs of the College.
The Dean Students Welfare is responsible for creating and maintenance of Amenities for co-curricular
and extra curricular activities of the students in a well-planned manner. He is also in-charge of Indoor and
Outdoor Sports activities in order to create a congenial academic environment at the Campus. He is also
required to look into different problems of student’s viz-a-viz to help them to progress and offer
the maximum guidance and encouragement to the needy.
Dean Research and Development and Public Relations is responsible for ensuring proper
Industrial Training, Institutional interaction programmes. He is responsible for bringing in Consultancy
assignments and recruitment/selection teams in his capacity as over all in charge of the Training and
Placement wing of the College.
In addition to the above authorities, students are encouraged to bring their grievances and complaints
directly to the Principal with prior appointment. Students are also encouraged to lodge their complaints
and problems confidentially and anonymously in case so desired by using a box for such suggestion outside
the office of the College Advisor. The overall academics system is excellent transparent as also the
Accounting and Management system which is audited by a Chartered Accountant and put up to the
Administrative Council of the College.

Students feedback
on Institutional Governance/faculty performance.
· Suggestion box is provided where students put their views/opinions about faculty anonymously
· A separate system is likely to be introduced where students will be given a prescribed format
wherein they will fill up their remarks/opinion like: satisfied/not satisfied, fast/slow/ or any other/lacona
like audible/in audible etc. and what they expect, so that teacher should come up to their expectations
and students should get maximum benefit.
iv)
Grievance and
redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students.
For Faculty/Staff
1. Complaints are received from the staff members.
2. Along with their personal files cases are studied and solved at
lower level itself if they are of minor nature.
3. Forwarded and discussed in Administrative Council Meeting and
suitable decision is taken and conveyed accordingly to the concerned
Faculty/staff member as per framed rules of the Institute.
For Students
1. Complaint is taken in written form.
2. Solved then and there if it is of minor nature.
3. If it is bit serious, Disciplinary Committee is constituted chaired by a Senior faculty
member/Dean, H.O.D. of concerned and two more faculty members. Who conduct
the enquiry calling all the students involved in the case. Sometimes even their parents
are also called for. Written statements from students are taken separately without
allowing them to consult each other.
4. Depending upon the seriousness of the case the committee gives it decision and
with due recommendations and forwards the case to Principal. Who in turns
gives his final decision if it is within his reach. He may also sometime consult
Advisor/Chairman or even Sole Trustee if deemed proper.
